We hope receiving a parcel from London Rats, can become a special part of your day.

Each order is wrapped individually by hand, with both the safety and the presentation in mind. 

One thing that we know is the way businesses package their products has a major impact on the planet. According to the OECD Global Plastics Outlook, around 40% of the world's plastic waste comes from packaging, with approximately 141 million tonnes of plastic packaging produced each year.

Our goal is to help reduce wasteful packaging, we've chosen to stop buying newly made packaging materials. Instead, we reuse materials that still have plenty of life left in them and give them a second purpose through thoughtful wrapping. 

We believe sustainable packaging can be beautiful too, making every parcel one of a kind and a surprise in your mailbox.

Starting London Rats has become a journey of discovering how we can use resourceful materials (things that are already around the house) and repurpose them. At the same time being mindful of the new packaging materials that we received on a day to day basis and know  if it should be kept nicely so it can be reused again later.
